Job Context
As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you`ll be supporting internal users of the company in regards to networking systems and services. You will be managing the network activities of Network team personnel tasked with providing support to internal users of company supported networking systems and services. You will direct and coordinate development and production activities of data network architectures. This team will also collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture and peer technical teams to holistically engineer high quality infrastructure solutions in support of business initiatives. Ensure service/support and design compliance with standard global IT practices, standards, procedures and policies. Develop standards, policies and procedures to continually improve the network infrastructure and services that IT delivers.

Job Responsibilities
Manage IT Network physical and logical WAN/LAN design, implementation, and support. This staff collectively responds to requests for IT services and support assistance;
Develop a strategy that addresses tactical and strategic plans for the advancement of the network solutions implemented within the enterprise;

Provide strategic planning for network operating systems and communications;
Manage capacity and performance standards / guidelines of the LAN/WAN;
Participates in vendor management activities;

Respond to highly complex and technical user service requests/inquiries that involve problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution;

Recommend changes to policies, procedures, and standards and ensures conformance with IT and Company objectives. Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process;
Assist in developing and enhancing cooperative interdepartmental and business relationships and communications;

Responsible for 3rd level support of the network infrastructure and services;
Establishes budgetary requirements for equipment and services.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related curriculum such as Information Technology or equivalent work experience

Experience Requirements
At least 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements
Age at least 27 years
3+ years of related experience in information systems analysis, design and implementation.
Solid knowledge/experience with computing and networking technologies, software products and systems.
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Aptitude to logically assess and troubleshoot hardware and software difficulties, and to determine accurate resolutions.
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments.
